This is a beautiful antique Byzantine style icon of The Mother of God of Kazan. Icon is a small plaque that measures 3.5in W x 3.75In H. The icon is framed within a beautiful shadow box inlaid with burgundy colored velvet and an ornate antique gold frame. It was hand painted by master artist Anatoly Kuznetzov in the village of Palekh.
